PROFESSIONAL PRODUCTS WARRANTY

If at any time your Cerwin Vega product malfunctions as a result of faulty materials or workmanship, Cerwin Vega or one of Cerwin Vega's Authorized Service Centers in the United States of America will repair the defect(s) or replace the merchandise, as it deems appropriate at its sole discretion based upon the information presented below.

Warranty Period (from date of Purchase as listed on the Bill of Sale):

2 Years Passive

1 Year Active (amps, headphones, mixers, etc.)

The end customer must register their product with Cerwin Vega within 15 days of ownership.

Warranty is not transferable from person to person.

To claim warranty a customer must have purchased the product through an authorized Cerwin Vega Dealer located in the United States of America.

Any model series not listed below is not warranted.

Only the following model series listed below (Active Models) would be offered any form of warranty by the newly formed Cerwin Vega company.

CVE series, CVI series, CVX series, CVXL series, EL-36d & EL-36DP, INT V2 series, SL series and XLS series.

Cerwin Vega Pro will warrant all replacement parts and repairs for ninety (90) days from the date of original shipment.

THIS WARRANTY IS EXTENDED TO THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASER ONLY AND MAY NOT BE TRANSFERRED OR ASSIGNED TO SUBSEQUENT OWNERS. IN ORDER TO VALIDATE YOUR WARRANTY, AND AS A CONDITION PRECEDENT TO WARRANTY COVERAGE HEREUNDER, YOU MUST REGISTER YOUR WARRANTY WITHIN FIFTEEN (15) DAYS FOLLOWING THE ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE-YOUR PROOF OF PURCHASE OR SALES RECEIPT MUST ACCOMPANY ALL REQUESTS FOR WARRANTY COVERAGE.

This warranty is subject to the following limitations:

This warranty does not cover

  • Any merchandise that has been altered or modified in any way or upon which the serial number has been tampered with or altered.
  • Any merchandise whose warranty card has been altered or upon which false information has been given.
  • Any merchandise that has been damaged due to misuse, negligence, or improper operation.
  • Any merchandise that has been damaged by accident, flood, fire, lightening, or other acts of God.
  • Shipping damage of any kind.
  • Any merchandise that has been subjected to extremes of humidity or temperature.
  • Any merchandise that has been purchased from an unauthorized dealer, or upon which unauthorized repair or service has been performed.

CERWIN VEGA PRO MAKES NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTY OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, EXCEEDING THE SPECIFIC PROVISIONS OF THIS WARRANTY ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED AND EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY.

SOME STATES AND/OR COUNTRIES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO THAT THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

CERWIN VEGA PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES SUFFERED BY THE PURCHASER OR ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR Loss OF PROFITS OR BUSINESS OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM USE OR PERFORMANCE OF THE MERCHANDISE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OR IN TORT, EVEN IF CERWIN VEGA PRO OR ITS AUTHORIZED REPRESENTATIVE HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES, AND CERWIN VEGA PRO SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY EXPENSES, CLAIMS, OR SUITS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO ANY OF THE FOREGOING.FOR MERCHANDISE PURCHASED FROM AN AUTHORIZED CERWIN VEGA DISTRIBUTOR OUTSIDE OF THE US, PLEASE CONTACT THE DISTRIBUTOR FROM WHOM you PURCHASED YOUR MERCHANDISE FOR THE HANDLING AND RESOLUTION OF ALL WARRANTY ISSUES. FOR THESE PURCHASES, THE ABOVE DESCRIBED WARRANTY IS NOT APPLICABLE. “

MOBILE PRODUCTS WARRANTY

Warranty Policies

All products sold by cerwinvegamobile.com are new, first quality (never seconds) brand name merchandise. We do offer factory reconditioned items; the condition of those items is marked as factory reconditioned and they all offer a limited warranty. Cerwinvegamobile.com will honor a full one-year limited warranty on all brand-new items. All warranty claims must be made through Cerwinvegamobile.com customer service. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, please contact cerwinvegamobile.com by email at ra@dat-cvm.com. All new products unless otherwise noted carry a one-year limited warranty from Cerwin Vega Mobile, refurbished and open box products carry 90 days limited warranty. Depending on the manufacturer and the defect, the product may be repaired, replaced, or refunded. The customer is responsible for shipping charges on defective merchandise to our company or the manufacturer.

Cerwinvegamobile.com warranty is voided if specific serial numbers, product stickers, or manufacturer seals have been removed, altered or tampered with. Warranty is also voided due to user abuse, misuse, defacing, and improper operation or installation. The warranty does not cover.

Misuse, abuse, or improper installation / operation. Subwoofers and speakers are not warranted against being blown, burned or abused. Cerwinvegamobile.com defines abuse as, but not limited to, burnt voice coils (blackened, no continuity, melted adhesives, coil separated from the former, etc.) punctured or damaged surrounds, broken speaker terminals, bent, chipped or broken frames, ripped spiders or damaged back plates. Blown, burned, and other abused subwoofers and speakers are not covered. Submitting any of the above will be considered out of warranty.

INTERNATIONAL

Products purchased outside of the U.S.A. are covered only by that country’s distributor and not by Cerwin Vega U.S.A.

WARRANTY PROCEDURE:

We recommend that you contact your Cerwin Vega authorized dealer where your original purchase was made to initiate all warranty claims. Our authorized dealers can guide you through the warranty procedure to ensure that your claim will be processed in a timely manner.

All warranty returns must be accompanied with a proof of purchase (a copy of the original sales receipt) and be shipped freight prepaid to our facility with an RA (Return Authorization) number clearly marked on the outside of the package.

Direct returns from consumers or non-authorized dealers will be refused if shipped without a valid RA number authorized by Cerwin Vega beforehand.
